Antifa's anarchist dream comes to Haiti: Bullet ridden bodies in the streets of the safe part of town

Haiti violence: Residents see no end to crisis as capital city reels from gang warfare

By Will Grant, BBC News, Cap-Haitien, Haiti

Reuters

Violence has engulfed the streets of Port-au-Prince

"Port-au-Prince is in panic mode," a friend in the Haitian capital texted me.

Residents of Petionville, a wealthier area of of the city, are shaken after their most violent day so far in the country's spiralling security crisis.

More than a dozen bullet-ridden bodies lay in the street - the victims of the latest gang rampage.

As well as the early morning killing spree, the home of a judge was also attacked - a clear message to the country's elites vying for power.

All this in what is supposedly the safe part of town.

Unicef's executive director, Catherine Russell, has called the situation in Haiti "horrific" and likened the lawlessness to the post-apocalyptic film, Mad Max.

Certainly the latest violence in Port-au-Prince is a reminder, if any were needed, that Haiti remains closer to anarchy than stability.

In that malaise, the UN has also estimated, because of the closure of so many hospitals in the capital, some 3,000 pregnant women were at risk of having to give birth with no maternity care.

More here.

Remember the $13 billion poured into Haiti after the January 2010 earthquake?

Money is no match against guns, which are strictly prohibited in Haiti, so the vast number of law-abiding people there are completely defenseless against the gangs.

Crime has soared in Democrat strongholds under Biden, but the FBI is working hard to hide the data and protect their boy

The BBC reports:

There are questions about the reliability of the FBI's crime report as it excluded data from some of the biggest US cities, including New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

It's important to point out that last year, the FBI switched to a new data collection system. According to one analysis, nearly 40% of law enforcement agencies have failed to report their 2021 crime figures - so we may only have a partial picture of the most recent crime rates.

For the money, LOL

Why women file for divorce more than men...

Filing for divorce might be their only choice to secure assets . . .

Canada's parliament has to agree to Adolf Trudeau's power grab within a week or it's a no-go

The powers announced by Mr Trudeau go into effect immediately - but his government has to present it to the House of Commons and the Senate within a week and needs a green-light or the proclamation would be revoked.

Batshit crazy Australia goes into lockdown over a coronavirus trickle

By comparison the US is experiencing a flood, but we're cutting loose even though new cases per million in the US registers a rate 30x worse than in Australia.

England's had 243 years to catch up on Americans and their guns, but they're still hopelessly benighted

World record with a revolving pistol is 12 rounds in 2.9 seconds, including the 6 round reload. Assuming ideal conditions, the world record holder's rate of fire per minute is 248, but would probably fall off dramatically from that due to the frequency of reloading. The same man with an AR-15 might be able to print 300 rounds a minute, but probably less due to reloading 10 times.

Maybe the Terminator T-1000 could pull an AR-15 rifle trigger 1200 times in a minute, but no human being could. And the T-1000 would quickly discover the weapon melting in his hands from the heat even if he could manage to change the 40 30-round magazines fast enough.

Typical rate of fire performance of the semi-automatic Armalite rifle is 12-15 rounds per minute. No automatic versions are legal to the general public in the United States.

The BBC pulled that graphic out of their ass.

LOL, Camille Paglia said in 1991 that Naomi Wolf can't do historical analysis, and Wolf has proven it, again

LISTEN: Clinton, Gore Advisor Naomi Wolf's New Book Exposed For Inaccuracies :

Speaking with interviewer Matthew Street about her new book, “Outrages,” ... Street pointed out she had completely misunderstood a legal term. Wolf had decided that there were several dozen executions of men for sodomy but did not understand that that fact was incorrect because she didn’t understand the legal term “death recorded.”

Oops.

Paglia in 1991:

And beauty, according to, um, Miss, um, Naomi Wolf, is a heterosexist conspiracy by men in a room to keep feminism back--and all that crap that's going on. I call her, by the way, "Little Miss Pravda." She and I are head to head on MTV this week, in case you want to know! But I won't appear with her. Oprah's tried to get me on with her: I won't go on with her. A talk show in Italy wanted to fly me over to appear with her. No. I always say, "Would Caruso appear with Tiny Tim?" If you want to see what's wrong with Ivy League education, look at The Beauty Myth, that book by Naomi Wolf. This is a woman who graduated from Yale magna cum laude, is a Rhodes scholar, and cannot write a coherent paragraph. This is a woman who cannot do historical analysis, and she is a Rhodes scholar? If you want to see the damage done to intelligent women today in the Ivy League, look at that book. It's a scandal. Naomi Wolf is an intelligent woman. She has been ill-served by her education. But if you read Lacan, this is the result. Your brain turns to pudding! She has a case to make. She cannot make it. She's full of paranoid fantasies about the world. Her education was completely removed from reality.

It's a State for Jews, hence a Jewish State, and always has been: Only cowardly anti-Semitic liberals (the BBC) try to hide behind "I was criticizing only Israel, not Jews"

Every tongue, tribe and people should have its own nation, including Americans.

All you dual passport holders should make up your minds, too.

Barack Obama lets one go: "Suddenly America's like the biggest . . . gas, that was me, people"

Whooooooweeeeee, that one smells:

The blocked rule would not have affected most fracking operations in the United States, since it would have applied only to fracking on federal lands. The vast majority of fracking in the United States — almost 90 percent — is done on state and private land and is governed by state and local regulations. The rule was unlikely to have stopped most new fracking on public lands, although oil and gas companies complained that it could have slowed operations by creating burdensome paperwork.

Hillary and Obama's legacy in Libya: Blacks being sold as slaves in open air markets

From the story here:

Black Africans are being sold in open-air slave markets right now, and it’s Hillary Clinton’s fault. ... Footage from Libya, released last week by CNN, showed young men from sub-Saharan Africa being auctioned off as farm workers in slave markets.

And how did we get to this point? As the BBC reported back in May, “Libya has been beset by chaos since NATO-backed forces overthrew long-serving ruler Col. Moammar Gadhafi in Oct. 2011.” And who was behind that overthrow? None other than then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Hillary falls down, again

Breaks toe this time.

In September 2016 she would have fallen down at the 911 remembrance but for handlers to prop her up.

And of course she fell and hit her head after being summoned to testify before Congress in 2012.

And they mocked Gerald Ford for being a klutz.

Story here.

Boston Globe says Trump travels twice the distance Clinton travels, takes fewer days off, but Hillary criticizes Trump for taking time off to dedicate his new hotel

He’s racked up more than 276,000 miles since he officially announced he was running for president on June 16, 2015. She’s tallied 256,000-plus miles since April 12, 2015, when she formally announced her candidacy.

In recent weeks, Trump has traveled considerably more miles — about double the distance Clinton has logged.

Trump has also taken fewer days off from traveling, according to the National Journal data. He’s traveled on just over half the days since he announced he was running. She’s traveled on about 39 percent of days since throwing her hat in the ring.
